The pretty cars that you see in the pictures didn’t start out that way. Because I don’t have a lot of money, I have had to buy the cars as cheaply as I could. Even though I enjoy restoring my own cars, I don’t always have the time or facility to restore them myself so some of my cars have been lovingly restored and cared for by Horsepower Enterprises LLC. Over the past 15 years I have worked with several restoration shops and garages throughout Pennsylvania. Many were very nice and said they could do good quality work, but I found that many times they were learning on the job and my car was the patient. : -(
As I compared numbers, I found that I was paying many times more to have a car repaired at another shop than Horsepower Enterprises because I was being charged to have their mechanic and/or body person learn about the car. When I started working with Horsepower Enterprises I found their years of experience working on all different kinds of cars including many rare and high dollar cars meant that they knew what to do from the start and the work they did was beyond expectation. I am not saying they don’t need to research sometimes, but their experience means they don’t need to research as often or as much. Horsepower Enterprises is not just a restoration shop, they are “the” restoration shop and the cars that they restore prove it. They are the shop that other shops turn to if they can’t solve a problem. Many of the cars they restore are so rare that there are only 3-5 in existence and they are working on them all. When someone wants to take a car to Pebble Beach or just to a local car show, Horsepower is who they call. They can help you start a project or finish a project you started, but got stuck on and can’t finish. Their prices are at or below the industry standard, but the work they do for that price is worth 10x more.

Renting my cars is not my business, these are family cars, I just am trying to help others. I have a day job that takes all of my time, so I can’t always be available if someone has questions during the day. Email or word of mouth is usually how people reach me.
